The objective of the faculty is to provide students with an outstanding education in the field as well as a board understanding of selected fields of study outside these areas. The degrees are designed so that a student should be able to understand the selected fields of study and quality for employment in a wide range of occupations.

BACHELOR OF ARTS (B.A.)

With major available in the following subjects: ENGLISH, ASSAMESE, POLITICAL SCIENCE, EDUCATION, SOCIOLOGY & ECONOMICS

Eligibility    : HS/(10+2) from any stream with 45% marks in aggregate.

Duration    : As per National Education Policy 2020 Intake

Capacity        : 50 students (in each department)

Mode of selection            : Based on merit

MASTER OF ARTS (M.A.) & M.com

The students can enroll in the following subjects: ASSAMESE, POLITICAL SCIENCE, EDUCATION, PHILOSOPHY,ENGLISH, ECONOMICS, PERFORMING ARTS

Eligibility : B.A. (Hons.) in Concerned subject with 45% marks in aggregate.
Duration : 2 years (4 Semesters)
Intake Capacity : 50 students (in each department)
Mode of selection : Based on merit
