An insightful program titled "Asmita" and "Yuva Sahiti" was organized today at Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya, under the joint aegis of the Sahitya Akademi and the Department of Assamese, Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya.
An insightful program titled "Asmita" and "Yuva Sahiti" was organized today at Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya, under the joint aegis of the Sahitya Akademi and the Department of Assamese, Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya.
The event was inaugurated by Kuntala Patowary Goswami, Chairperson of the Krishnaguru Shiksha Parishad. Renowned poet, translator, and orator Diganta Biswa Sarma—a Sahitya Akademi Translation Award winner and a devotee of Sri Aurobindo—graced the occasion as the distinguished guest.
The primary objective of this special program was to inspire women and youth who have contributed significantly to the world of literature. Several prominent female and young writers from across Assam attended the event. Other notable attendees included Dr. Mukunda Sarma, Registrar of Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya; Dr. Biren Chakraborty, Academic Registrar; and Dr. Gavinda Prasad Bhuyan, Head of the Assamese Department, along with faculty members, university officials, and students.
