Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya, Inaugurates Mushroom Production and Training Center With the addition of skill development courses, Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya takes a step forward towards progress. Today, the university inaugurated its Oyster Mushroom Production and Training Center. The inaugural event was graced by Pranjal Baruah, founder of the Mushroom Development Foundation and a distinguished Ashoka Fellow. Speaking at the event held in the University Auditorium, Baruah remarked, “Economic progress of a nation is only possible through skill development of every youth” The event was attended by Kuntala Patowary Goswami, Chairperson of Krishnaguru Shiksha Parisad, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohan Chandra Kalita, Registrar Dr. Mukunda Sharma, Academic Registrar Dr. Mrinal Kumar Bora, Deputy Controller of Examinations Dhrubajyoti Konwar, Principal of the Science and Technology College Dr. Narayan Chandra Baruah and Public Relation officer of the University, Pranjal Patowary along with Faculties, staff and students of the university. As part of the day-long program, Pranjal Baruah conducted a training session on mushroom cultivation.
